On Friday, the girls arrived at Disney and many took advantage and enjoyed the Magic Kingdom Theme Park during
the day.
Friday night saw the entire team marching down main street, in the Twirl Mania Parade. With
their banners flowing, their green light sticks spinning, and their flags waving, they put on a wonderful performance, taking
up most of Main Street, to a wildly cheering crowd.
On Saturday, the girls performed as a showcased group
at The Wide World of Sports Complex in the middle of the Twirl Mania competition. They performed their "Dallas" number
and received a wonderful response from the crowd.
On Sunday, the girls opened the Twirl Mania awards event.
The event was held at the Indiana Jones Raiders of the Lost Ark pavilion in Disney Worlds Hollywood theme park. It was a standing
room only crowd overflowing the 2000 seat pavilion, with the best of the best twirlers in the world waiting for their hard earned
trophies.
The girls started with Girls Just Want To Have Fun and then went into their Greased Lightning number
with an energetic crowd cheering them on. When they finished, the roaring crowd gave them a standing ovation.
Back in The Villages, the girls said it was one of the most fabulous experiences that they have ever had. This was a weekend
of memories that they will truly never forget.
